Sarah Highfield

10kg Down. 100 Wall Balls. Her First HYROX Pro Solo.

From a two-hour HYROX to taking on the Pro division. Sarah’s journey is about far more than losing weight or getting faster.

It Started with Wanting to Improve

Sarah wasn’t completely new to HYROX. She already knew what it felt like to cross the finish line, but she wanted to become a stronger, more capable athlete.

Her earlier Women’s Open race time was 2:00:00.

There was room to improve, particularly in developing her running and the strength endurance needed to handle the demands of a HYROX race.

But improving wasn’t going to happen through simply doing more and hoping for the best.

Building a Different Kind of Athlete

Through her training with Wilder, Sarah worked on developing her running ability, strength and confidence.

Over time, the changes became increasingly noticeable.

She lost 10 kg, improved her running and developed the ability to complete 100 wall balls.

But the most important change wasn’t necessarily visible on the scales. It was what her body was becoming capable of doing.

The Results Started Speaking for Themselves

Sarah went from her earlier Women’s Open time of 2:00:00 to 1:45:39.

That’s an improvement of 14 minutes and 21 seconds.

A meaningful result, but it wasn’t the end of her journey. As her fitness developed, so did her ambitions.

The athlete who had once been working towards improving her Open performance was now preparing to take on something considerably more demanding.

Stepping Up to Pro

Sarah went on to complete her first HYROX Pro Solo.

For anyone familiar with HYROX, moving into the Pro division means taking on heavier station loads and a new level of physical challenge.

It’s a significant step, especially when you look back at where Sarah started.

And it’s exactly the kind of progression we love seeing at Wilder.

More Than a Number on the Scales

Sarah’s journey includes weight loss, faster race times and improved strength.

But those achievements tell only part of the story.

The bigger picture is an athlete who kept developing, raised her expectations of herself and continued finding new things she was capable of.

From 2:00:00 in Women’s Open to completing her first Pro Solo. Sarah hasn’t just changed her fitness. She’s changed what’s possible for her.
